Ideas for Programme

I'd just like to say HI to all you out there as some of you may not know me, I'm Emilie, technically an explorer although rarely come to the meetings! Just a few suggestions that I think would be interesting to make a programme:

*A religion evening/s where Buddhists/ Muslims etc could visit us or we could visit their place of worship to become more culturally aware. Well, I think it's interesting.

* Competitions to design new badges/posters/articles for the website?

* Perhaps learn more about pioneering so when we go away we will know how to build things?

* A meeting about countries and where everyone would wish to go and why, talk about their cultures and traditions.

* Emergency services doing talks? (Like the prison one we had)

* Socially aware of clique groups, eg: emos, chavs and everyone (or groups) could dress up and talk about the stereotypes and how correct they are - could be a laugh!!

* Campfire cooking practice for camps

* Duke of Edinburgh talk and sign up, and any other badges the unit could try and get.

* Visit a zoo!!!

I don't know..."the possibilities are endless", as they say but the above are only suggestions to mix productivity with fun, random times.

Just shout your views! Maybe we could get an interesting programme together with some planning.
